Our teachers Iván from Physics and Chemistry and Pilar from Physical Education visit the

Luitpold-Gymnasium" in Munich, Germany. For three days they have attended

different levels and subjects such as PE, Physics, English and German, among others.

They emphasise their active and participative methodology during the classes in which the students intervene, present and correct their own exercises together as a group.

The classes are very varied and the continuous interaction with the students is remarkable.

Students are allowed to use digital devices in the upper grades. The project work in seminars in the final year is also very interesting.

The classrooms are large and bright with large windows. The laboratories are very well

The laboratories are very well equipped and have material for the students to carry out various practical exercises.

Most of the students and teachers come to the school by bicycle and there is a huge park in front of the school with sports facilities. to use during the PE sessions.

The surroundings are also beautiful and well worth a visit for our students.

Our teachers Melchor from Biology and Geology and Laura from Geography and History visit the "Gesamtschule Weierheide" centre in Oberhausen, Germany. They learn from its methodology, evaluation system and organization. For several days they have attended the classes of this centre and have observed first-hand their way of working in order to be able to apply the most innovative methods to our own center.

In the German center, practical teaching is encouraged from the first courses and students have beekeeping workshops, a climbing wall, outdoor classrooms and they manage their own cafeteria.

Two of our teachers from the IES Gregorio Peces Barba have had the opportunity to get to know another European center thanks to the Erasmus+ project. Within the framework of our project, the Art teacher Victoria L. and the English teacher Elena D. traveled last April to Fabriano (Italy) to visit the Istituto di Istruzione Superiore Merloni Miliani in Fabriano and see first-hand its way of working, its distribution of spaces and its methodologies for inclusion. For three days they were able to observe this school in the heart of Italy to learn and be able to contribute new ideas to our center. Thanks to these Erasmus+ mobilities, our center will be able to continue growing and improving day by day with the implementation of new ways of working and organizing both at a pedagogical and spatial level.
